Jimbo Blasts the BCS System
According to the Tallahassee Democrat, Jimbo Fisher, head coach for the Florida State University, is pissy about the BCS rankings. He says, “It’s too much who you play and not how you play.” And Jimbo, we lose on both points.
Anybody who knows me knows that I am a Seminole to my soul. Who we’ve played this year has been largely out of our control. But how we have played, or more accurately stated, how we’ve coached is on you, Jimbo.
You don’t have the killer instinct to take this team to a National Championship. You need to hire an offensive coordinator ASAP. Stop being such a control freak and learn how to delegate. We are playing too conservatively. E.J. is regressing as a qb instead of progressing. The offensive line, though much better than last year, still is allowing E.J. to get touched too many times. The secondary is getting beat too often.
It’s difficult for me or anyone who really understands football to co-sign on your whining when YOU placed us in this sucky position. We were #2 in the BCS poll. If you don’t like where we are now, stop blaming the computers and take a look at your self.
