Seminole Spotlight: "Rolle" Scholar

Myron Rolle Scholar We won tonight and it was a nice win.  37-3!

More important, however, is the news that FSU football player Myron Rolle was named a Rhodes Scholar just a few minutes ago in Birmingham, Ala.

Rolle becomes the fourth student in FSU history to earn the prestigious post-graduate scholarship, joining Caroline Alexander (1973), Garrett Johnson (2006) and Joe O'Shea (2007).

I'm so proud to be a 'Nole tonight.  You know, our country just elected it's first Black President and a black football player is a Rhodes Scholar.

I don't know about you but I'm kinda feelin' like there is no room for excuses.  The sky is the limit to what we can have as long as we acknowledge God and allow Him to direct our paths.

Ain't God good?

More about this wonderful young man later.  I'm tired.
