I remember Bernie Sliger. He was the President of Florida State University for a number of years. The University grew tremendously under his leadership. He was such a warm person. He had an ice cream social at his home every year. That event was one of the things that made me fall in love with Florida State. I've spoken with him on several occasions. He passed away today. He will be missed.
